Screw Piles are a modern alternative to the traditional concrete pier. In simple terms, they consist of a helical steel screw which in turn is driven deep into the ground to anchor and disperse load.

Whilst similar to concrete piers in that they reliably disperse building load, screw piles use techniques that are more accurate, faster and more cost effective compared to the traditional concrete alternative

Not all screw piles are the same. The HiTorq screw pile system utilises Katana screws that feature a unique twin curved fin design which in turn delivers both faster installation (due to improved penetration and less pre drilling) and more accurate installation (due to superior “verticiality”). They are fully warranted having been stringently tested and manufactured locally to the highest welding specifications.
